Jesse Silva is an investor, venture capitalist, entrepreneur, and operator. Coming from a lower-middle class background, Jesse founded a small towing company and worked three jobs to support it. Over a decade, he completed 150+ acquisitions and grew Alpha Towing to over a nine-figure valuation. Jesse sold the company and attracted the interest of financial institutions and national brands to replicate his successful system and structure. He has consulted as an asset manager in risky acquisitions, consulted with Little Caesars, and founded SkyLab Ventures, a $30M growth-to-exit venture capital fund.

Josh Smith developed business expertise at a young age, working in various positions at Smith’s Food & Drug, which was founded by his grandfather, Dee Smith. Josh launched his first company at the age of 19 and led the creation of multiple brands including Xcel Fitness, BodyFit, Component 5, and C2X. He has navigated every aspect of the entrepreneurial journey and currently serves as a leader in the Utah commercial real estate market in partnership with Brandon Fugal. Josh brings a legacy of relationships and a unique entrepreneurial perspective as an Operating Partner at Maddix Capital.

Jake Gubler is well-versed in M&A, private / public capital raises, and corporate advisory. Prior to joining Maddix, Jake was the Manager of Corporate Development at Owlet (NYSE: OWLT), where he led M&A, partnership, and strategic analyses and execution efforts. Prior to Owlet, Jake spent time as an investment banker at Bank of America and Wells Fargo, and as an analyst at Peterson Partners, a lower-middle market private equity fund. Over the course of his career, Jake has executed ~$10 billion of cumulative M&A and equity / debt transactions, primarily across the technology and consumer / retail industries.

Tara Krajewski has 25+ years of experience supporting senior executives in high-volume and high-pressure environments across the Utah technology landscape. Prior to joining Maddix, Tara was as an early employee at Pluralsight, where she stayed through both the IPO and the Vista Equity take-private transaction. She brings a robust knowledge of investor and client support to revolutionize how Maddix Capital communicates and interacts with our unique investor base.
